Before co-founding Casa del Paw, Silky spent years working in veterinary hospitals, honing her clinical skills and gaining firsthand experience in animal behavior, health, and safety. That background doesn’t just set her apart — it sets our entire operation apart.

From recognizing early signs of discomfort to safely managing medications or post-surgical pets, her training brings a layer of care and professionalism that casual sitters simply can’t match. Silky’s calm presence, technical know-how, and deep empathy for animals are the foundation of the safe, structured, and loving environment we’re proud to offer every guest.

Kevan brings a background in engineering and data analytics to Casa del Paw — a skillset that might seem unconventional in the pet care world, but one that’s made all the difference.

From optimizing workflows and organizing finances, to designing the endless iterations of our intake systems - on top of pitching into operations, he’s the behind-the-scenes force that helps keep the operation structured and scalable. More importantly, he’s a lifelong animal lover who traded in boardrooms and spreadsheets for leashes and paw prints — and never looked back.
